1. Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle
This is the most important thing you can equip yourself with! The hospital might give you an upside-down peri bottle to take home, but let’s face it. They are only giving you a glorified water bottle. Save yourself the sanity and get yourself a nice peri bottle! Make sure you put warm water in it each time before you use the bathroom and you’ll be golden.

2. Lansinoh Postpartum Cooling Pads
My hospital gave me postpartum cooling pads, but not every hospital does. It’s best to prepare just in case they don’t, or they do not give you enough. Hint: You will never have enough. These numb you enough to soothe the pain down under.

3. Tucks Hemorrhoidal Pads
These are incredibly nice to have as they ease the stinging down below. They contain hazelnut to ease the pain. In the hospital, they then sprayed these pads with the Dermoplast. It helped incredibly with the pain control.

4. Dermoplast Pain, Burn & Itch Relief Spray
This spray helps tremendously. Spray it on the Tucks cooling pad and it’ll work wonders. If you forget to replace the Cooling Pad when you’re in pain, you can spray it directly on the perineum. Added bonus: After your postpartum days are over, you can use this spray on cuts and scrapes.

5. Always Maxi Overnight Pads
For the first week or two postpartum, you bleed a lot. It’s your body’s way of healing. Some woman prefer not to wear pads, or they have bad reactions to them. That is ok. For those who prefer pads, these are great. The small bits that these pads do not catch are caught with the Always Depends underwear.

6. Always Discreet Adult
Not only did this help but they didn’t feel like a diaper at all. I’m 5’11, 165 lbs, and ordered a large. Every bit of Postpartum that wasn’t caught with my pads was caught with Always Depends.

7. Not Your Mother’s Postpartum Book
This is an informative book about postpartum. It is raw and honest. Tells you exactly how you might be feeling and the challenges you might be feeling in motherhood. You can read the whole book or jump to the chapters that relate to you.
While postpartum recover is different for every mother, most of the time, it can get pretty messy. You’ve already done so much. Let these products make it a little easier on you.
